What we collect

• An anonymous device ID. The first time you play, your browser creates a random ID and keeps it in local storage. It’s sent with your picks so we can score them and show your results. It isn’t linked to your name, email or any account. We don’t have accounts.
• Your picks. The answers you lock in are stored with that device ID and the date, so we can count how many players named each answer and show the daily Board.
• Feedback you send. Messages from the Feedback button are stored with the page you sent them from and emailed to us through Resend. They’re anonymous unless you choose to add your email address, which we use only to reply.
• Your theme choice (light, dark or system) is kept in your browser’s local storage and never sent to us.

Apart from an email you choose to leave with feedback, we don’t ask for or store names, email addresses, passwords or payment details, and we don’t sell or share your information.

Hosting and logs

The site is served through Cloudflare, which processes technical data such as your IP address to deliver pages and protect against abuse. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.

Advertising and cookies

The site may show ads from Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the internet.

You can opt out of personalized advertising in Google Ads Settings, or opt out of some third-party vendors’ use of cookies at aboutads.info. Learn more about how Google uses information from sites that use its services. Where required by law (for example in the EEA and UK), you’ll be asked for consent before personalized ads are shown.

Your choices

Clearing your browser’s site data deletes the device ID and theme choice. Picks already made stay in our game records without any way to tie them back to you. If you’d like us to delete the picks made with a device ID, email us with that ID (it’s the ykb:device-id value in your browser’s local storage).

Children

The site isn’t directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect personal information from them.
